Dear Fellow Torpedo Friends and Family
We begin the short course season with Josh Christensen as the THT Head Coach. His energy and enthusiasm for the sport is visible on deck. We are adding swimmers daily with a very successful free swim lesson program that so many of you have helped fund.
This is why I’m reaching out to ask for your help for hundreds of current and future swimmers with a donation to the upcoming Swim-a-thon on Saturday, October 22nd.
We have EXCITING NEWS!!! We have a donor that will match the first $10,000 dollars raised. Please help us meet this goal and double our donations.
You’ve seen first-hand how the Torpedoes improve the lives of people in our community by providing free swim lessons and water safety courses, as well as through the safe practice of competitive swimming.
Swimming is a lifesaving skill and an opportunity for children to gain self-confidence. Some children will become competitive swimmers who race at the highest levels. Others will take lessons learned in the water to develop emotional and intellectual skills that will last a lifetime.
Celebrate your success, or your child’s success, with a gift of $100 or more to the Swim-a-thon this fall. Your donation will continue to provide a championship atmosphere for athletes, but also help us continue to give free swim lessons in the Wabash Valley. This program has benefitted hundreds of children that are now safe in the water and contributed to 25 new Torpedo swimmers.
